What is Our Mission?
To start each day of service with fresh ingredients and then slice, dice, stir and swirl our way to creating delicious homemade entrees, soups, sauces, sides and desserts for you!

The Story Begins…..

The Booyah Shed and Grill red mobile unit was founded in Green Bay and began tempting shoppers every Wednesday during the On Broadway - Farmer’s Market and at other local events such as Ledge Fest, De Pere Fall Fest, Art Street.  A certified, mobile kitchen designed and built in Green Bay for the sole purpose of cooking and serving Booyah & other homemade, savory foods. Dan has been cooking and making ‘bowl lickin’ Booyah for years. He packs this historic, unique dish with chicken, heaps of vegetables and a hint of beef to ensure you experience the savory thickness in every slurp and hearty spoonful. Using two, 90 gallon, seasoned, cast iron kettles, we cook and simmer Booyah for hours to ensure all the flavors come to life in your mouth. We take pride in the fact that no one has ever complained that our Booyah is too thin. In addition to the cast iron kettles, the red Mobile Shed is home to a grill, griddle and a deep fryer for the making of other tasty foods.

Seeking to add a more permanent location to offer Booyah year round, in addition to an expanded menu offering, the sit down-dine in Booyah Shed & Grill Restaurant was born in Olde School Square. Its a family affair here at the Shed, from the cooking, waiting tables and washing dishes.  The table, booth or even the bar you are sitting at today are all hand built.  And the Booyah recipe Dan prides himself on perfecting from an age old family recipe of Booyah remains the same today, one which he has used for more than a decade and will continues to use for decades to come.  “It’s made the old fashioned way” – of which the current clientele have been the judge and future clientele will be.
